Halloween in Brazil – Breaking Barriers Through Conversation

In late October, Steiger missionaries Lucas and Moah teamed up to host a Halloween party outreach in São Paulo, creating a space where young people far from faith could encounter Jesus through music, conversation, and relationships.
Moah played with his band Lumière and shared songs with a message of hope, touching hearts across a diverse crowd. Some were curious, others skeptical, a few were openly struggling with drugs or alcohol, and several were from the LGBTQ+ community. But the team’s goal was simple: to listen, connect, and show God’s love through real relationships.

“Ana,” a longtime friend who has walked with the team for years, couldn’t hold back tears during Moah’s message. She reflected deeply on her life and on what God might be doing in it.
Throughout the evening, over 50 young people heard the clear message of the Gospel.
“It was a moment of welcoming, of opening our hearts to people who wouldn’t walk into a church, but were there, open to deep, spiritual conversations, ready to hear about Jesus. It was really worth it,” shared Lucas.
