“Before the last outreach, God gave me an image of a girl with blonde hair and glasses,” shared Leila, a SMS student from Kamchatka (Russia). Leila talked to people all day long before meeting Lisa—who had blonde hair and glasses.

“I went up to her and said, ‘I have a word from God for you. He needs you. You are not alone. You can always turn to Him, and He will support you,’” Leila recalled.

Lisa was surprised. “Does God really exist?” she asked, opening the door for more conversation and prayer.

‍

These are just two of dozens of stories coming out of four big outreaches led by the SMS students and volunteers in St. Petersburg throughout the course of the school. Students stepped out of their comfort zones, acted boldly, and trusted God. They shared the Gospel in all kinds of places—on the streets, in bars, at concerts—and saw how God responded!
