About
Since 2015, our team in Beirut has been engaging young people in the city’s open mic rap and poetry scene, philosophy discussions and book clubs, university campuses, and through a coffeehouse and community space. Beirut is a city where modernity and tradition collide — young people often grow up in traditional families while also forming new identities shaped by global youth culture. This tension creates unique challenges as they navigate questions of faith, belonging, and purpose. With Islam and political-religious identity strongly shaping society, we seek to create spaces where young people can wrestle with their struggles and encounter the hope of Jesus in a way that speaks to both cultures they are living in.
