About the Speakers

John Lennox

John Lennox, Professor of Mathematics at Oxford University (emeritus), is an internationally renowned speaker on the interface of science, philosophy and religion. He regularly teaches at many academic institutions, is Senior Fellow with the Trinity Forum and has written a series of books exploring the relationship between science and Christianity.

Paul copan

Paul Copan is a Christian theologian, analytic philosopher, apologist, and author. He is currently a professor at the Palm Beach Atlantic University and holds the endowed Pledger Family Chair of Philosophy and Ethics.

Julia Garschagen

Julia Garschagen is the director of the Zacharias Institute for Science, Culture, and Belief in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. She lectures in the university and economic sectors, addressing critical questions about Christianity, and she illuminates socially relevant and existential issues from a Christian perspective.

LUKAS RUEGGER

Lukas is the Director of Steiger Middle East. He has an M.A. in Christian Apologetics and has recently launched the YouTube channel “Deflate,” on which he tackles the most often-heard intellectual objections against Christianity. Through his channel and everyday interactions, he tries to help both skeptics and believers think through hard questions regarding Christian faith.

David bennett

David Bennett is a writer, speaker, and passionate apologist for the Christian faith. He is from Sydney, Australia, and is pursuing a DPhil (PhD) in theology at the University of Oxford. A fellow at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics, he holds an Oxford postgraduate degree in theology, as well as a master’s degree in analytic theology from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. David wants to bring a fresh new voice to the issue of homosexuality, cutting through the current culture war we are seeing.

Racheal Mutesi

Racheal Mutesi is an RZIM adjunct speaker based in Kampala, Uganda. She founded Ufahari Girls Ministries, a faith-based organization with the vision to see an empowered girl society in self and sustainable development through Christian apologetics and evangelism, education, discipleship, poverty alleviation, and improved health care. She offers pastoral support at Wakisa Teenage Crisis Center helping young pregnant girls through counseling and Bible study.

Mahlatse Mashua

Mahlatse Mashua is the Regional Director of RZIM in Africa and a member of the global speaking team. He studied biochemistry at the University of KwaZulu Natal and served as a pastor and elder at a church where he was also involved with training the congregation in evangelism and discipleship. He speaks across Africa on the interface between Christian apologetics, justice, and race relations.

Ben Pierce

Ben is the head of Steiger Media, host of the weekly Provoke & Inspire podcast, and co-creator of the evangelistic Youtube channel, “IsThereMore.” Ben teaches a specialized course called Jesus in the Secular World for which he has also written a book.

AARON PIERCE

Aaron is the Executive Director of Steiger International, he also co-leads the Lausanne Movement’s recent initiative on Global Secularization and oversees Steiger International’s strategic direction, while teaching at its training events, developing new church and ministry partnerships.

Luke is the Director of Steiger Europe, where he works to establish long-term City Teams in key urban centers. He is the author of Global Youth Culture: The Spiritual Hunger of the Largest Unreached Culture Today. He is the frontman of the evangelistic band The Unrest.
