Hello! We are Mariia and Roman Okhmat, serving with Steiger in Ukraine, based in Dnipro, a city in a frontline region.
Thank you so much for your interest in our ministry and for your willingness to support us financially. We are truly grateful for your heart and for partnering with us to see God’s work grow!
We have been full-time missionaries for five years, and God brought us together through Steiger. Now we serve as a family, leading a team of 15 young people in our city. Each week, we organize street outreaches, creative events, and Bible studies for youth who wouldn’t normally come to church. We do all of this with the goal of sharing the love and hope of Jesus, even in the midst of war. We also equip and train local churches to step out of their walls and share the gospel boldly.
Beyond our local ministry, we have national responsibilities: Roman serves as a Fundraising Coach and facilitator for our Ukraine mission, while Mariia oversees HR and missionary care.
Our hearts long to see a spiritual awakening among the youth in Dnipro and across Ukraine. We dream of seeing the mission we serve continue to grow, and we would love for you to join us—walking alongside us as God transforms lives through this ministry.
