Katarína Matejková

I lead the Steiger City Team in Bratislava, Slovakia, and I am passionate about seeing the secular culture of this generation encounter Jesus in a real and transformative way. From an early age, I was searching for something deeper—meaning, purpose, and fulfillment that nothing in this world could provide. God found me and showed me that the answer is Jesus Christ, and I became convinced that only He can save and satisfy the deepest needs of the human heart. My vision is to see young people become devoted disciples of Jesus and to live in a real, authentic relationship with God, not dead religion. I love engaging people from different worldviews in honest conversations about faith, truth, and the meaning of life. As a team in Slovakia, we do this through creative outreaches, music events, and discussions where we share the Gospel in a relevant and uncompromising way. I also have a heart to equip and mobilize Christians to share their faith naturally in everyday life, and to build unity in the Church by reconnecting believers from different backgrounds, because I believe this is on God’s heart and is key to fulfilling the Great Commission.
