1000 Burning Arrows
The world desperately needs a new generation of radical Jesus followers—fully committed, all-in disciples who refuse to stand by while their generation goes unreached.
Steiger’s vision is to raise up 1,000 “burning arrows”—young missional leaders—who will complete our mobilization and leadership development program over the next five years, establishing long-term teams and fueling a radical missionary movement that will transform the Global Youth Culture for Jesus.

Steiger’s mobilization and leadership development is a dynamic, four-phase process:
Phase 1:
Mobilization
In this phase, Steiger’s Impact Events and Intensive Trainings inspire young believers to live passionately for Jesus and reach secular young adults in their city. Many then join or start a Steiger MVMT or apply to the Steiger Missions School for deeper mission engagement.
Phase 2:
Steiger Missions School
For those called to Steiger’s mission, the next step is the Steiger Missions School (SMS)—a 7-week transformational program in Germany that imparts Steiger’s DNA, culture, and values, equips students to reach and disciple the Global Youth Culture, and identifies new leaders.
Phase 3:
Steiger Year One
This year-long program helps SMS graduates apply what they’ve learned in a practical way in their own city. It focuses on developing character and skills through online cohorts, small group discussions, in-person interactions, and hands-on internships. Graduates of the Steiger Year One program officially become one of our 1,000 “burning arrows.”
Phase 4:
Steiger Catalysts
This phase invests in key catalytic leaders to fuel a radical missionary movement. It includes online training, seed funding, intensive workshops, one-on-one mentoring, and practical opportunities to develop key leadership skills. The goal is for these leaders to take on key full-time leadership roles in the mission.

Definitions:
- Gospel Reach: The number of secular young people who hear the Gospel proclaimed in-person through Steiger’s evangelistic actions
- Discipleship Event Attendances: The number of times that people reached (new or not-yet believer) participate in a Steiger Bible study or follow-up event
