Background: Pleitegeier is a record label that exists to support and encourage evangelistic bands and artistst.
Role: To support the Manager of Pleitegeier through: communication management (emails, telephone, faxes, etc), coordinating printing, assisting with event management, assisting creatively and general administration.  Ideally this person would grow  to take over the management of Pleitegeier in the future.

Leader: Evangelistic Cafe

Background: The Evangelistic Café is a new ministry that Steiger in Karlsruhe would like to establish.
Role:  To set up and run an evangelistic café in the cellar of the Steiger House in Karlsruhe.  The vision is for the café to  be a place where people experience and get to know Jesus.  We also want to make creative interaction possible.

Publishing Coordinator

Background: Steiger International produces books every year that need to be published and distributed.  We also have a large amount of material that needs to be modified for magazine publication.
Role: To coordinate the publishing and printing of books written by Steiger Leaders and to facilitate the placement of articles in selected magazines

Bookkeeper - Steiger Germany Office

Background: Steiger Germany has many different ministries and runs out of multiple locations.
Role: T o maintain the financial accounts of Steiger Germany.  This would include maintaining the accounting system, paying bills, processing missionary payments, producing tax receipts, etc.
Skills/Experience Required:

• Accounts experience
• Ideally experienced in “Quickbooks” or other similar accounting software
• Flexibility

Hours per Week :  Approximately 10 - This role could be combined with another job or other ministry activities.

Co-Worker - Lift/Fuel Discipleship Training Schools
Location: Karlsruhe, Germany
Background: Steiger Germany has two discipleship schools a year, to train and equip young people in biblical truth and evangelism.
Role: To work with the leaders of the schools in building and growing the students. This will include planning and doing outreaches, contributing to regular lessons and sharing in their lives. This is a great developmental role for someone who wants to learn more about discipleship.
Skills/Experience Required:

• A desire to see young people grow in their relationship with God
• Able to work well in a team

Co-Worker: Jesus*Rockt Church
Location: Karlsruhe, Germany
Background: Jesus*Rockt is the Steiger church in Karlsruhe. The church has around 50 people attending and we meet in the cellar of the community house. In Jesus*Rockt we like to do “church” in a new and unusual way to reach the heart of people and have an impact on their lives.

Role: For someone to help with planning, organising and operation of the church. You will have to opportunity to see church “live” - behind the scenes. You will be involved in planning and organising the church and other events to meet the vision. This is a great opportunity for someone to help to implement our vision and to find out why we are doing things the way we do. It is also for anyone who wants to learn more about planting and running a Church and wants to get more experience in this area. Training and mentoring for the Worker is available in certain areas.

Skills/Experience Required:

• Have a heart for people and see them with Gods eyes
• Be passionate about the church.

Community House Maintenance
Location: Karlsruhe, Germany
Background: The house - “Schleuse” - is the centre and heart of the work of Steiger in Karlsruhe / Germany. It is a big, old house (approx 1500m2) with 5 bathrooms, 17 bedrooms, 3 kitchens, 3 lounges, 2 offices, church, meeting room and dining room, workshop and other outside spaces.

Role: To coordinate and/or perform routine maintenance, repairs, redecorating and other work around the house. There is always plenty of maintenance and preventative work to do.

Skills/Experience Required:

• Maintenance experience – basic carpentry, plumbing, redecorating, etc
• Renovation experience

When: May - July 2009 (for 3 months before NLM Tour)
Background: No Longer Music is a theatrical & musical intense, non-traditional portrayal of God’s love for people.
Role: To be part of a team that goes in advance to the cities that NLM will be touring in to build relationships with the local churches and promoters , to ensure follow-up program are in place and to work with the local team to ensuring planning is organized and on target.

Spiritual Advisor/Mentor - Radical Missions School

Background: Every year, Steiger has a Radical Missions and Leadership Training School, to prepare people for radical missions. This is always an International School, with students coming from all around the globe for teaching, mentoring and evangelism experiences.
Role: To provide spiritual guidance and act as a mentor to students attending this school.

Role: To provide translation services for written material from English into German. This includes translating promotional material, newsletters, emails and general Steiger information.

• Create visual documentation of the reality of God's power and of what He is doing through the work developed by Steiger
• Help the Church to understand the need for this kind of ministry, encouraging people to join in with this work and to develop relevant ways of communicating the gospel to secular society
• Provide eyewitness evidence of God’s transforming presence in the lives of Steiger workers and in the lives of those who were lost

Role: To be involved in animation design for the video projects that Steiger is working on. This is on a project-by-project basis.

• Access to animation software and hardware.
• The ability to work to deadlines
• Experience in translating written information accurately from English into German

Background: Steiger TV aims to:

Role: To take raw footage and edit it into a video clip for use by Steiger.  This is project work – the project will be set by Steiger TV Leader and the timeframes and details agreed with the Video Editor.

• The ability to work to deadlines

Personal Assistant
Location: 6 months New Zealand, 6 months travel
Background: : The founders of Steiger require ongoing administrative assistance due to the busy nature of their roles.

Role:To provide administration and support services to David and Jodi Pierce.  This includes email management, making appointments, time management, scheduling, organising, running errands, assisting David and Jodi where necessary, etc.  The person who takes this position will need to physically reside in the same location as David and Jodi.  This will mean travelling with them for at least 6 months of the year and spending the rest of the time on the Kapiti Coast in New Zealand.
