Dear Friends,

The club was located in a red light area and was anything but a high class club like we were told. Upstairs there was a room for dancing and another room for sex. 16 year old kids (and younger) were passed out on couches from a mixture of drugs and alcohol.

The male singer in the band that played before us wore high heel shoes, painted his toenails red and wore heavy eyeliner and red lipstick. When they started to play I thought he was a girl.

We finally started to play at around 2:00am. During our concert the Holy Spirit was very heavy in the crowd and the audience clapped and cheered during the resurrection. Afterwards we had many good talks with people.

Aaron (our son) spent more than an hour talking with a whole group of guys about Jesus, including two guys from a big radio station who stopped by for drinks. Jodi had one talk after another. She told me that so many of the young girls there were so open and so hungry for answers.

In fact nearly everyone in the band talked with many lost and hurting young people that night.

I spent a long time afterwards with the guy who was helping us with sound. He had given his life to Jesus just a few days earlier. He was weeping after the concert because God was so moving in his heart!

We finally got to sleep around 6:00am.

There is so much I could tell you about our South American Tour! At the end of the tour we had an 'invitation' only concert in the church for those that we prayed with in the clubs.

The church was packed. People were there from all the places where we had played during the tour. Including one girl from a very heavy gothic festival who had gone to the festival to leave God but instead was confronted by Him at our concert. She gave her life to Jesus that night along with many others. We also gave out many Bibles; it was a great way to connect people to the church.

Thank you for your prayers! God healed the infection in my eyes and Aaron's back was better but not perfect. So please keep praying that Jesus completely heals his back.

God really did protect us and give us strength. We were amazed at how mightily God moved in the clubs. We could feel His authority and many gave their lives to Jesus in some of the heaviest venues. I will be writing a detailed report when I get home that I can send you if you want to know more. Just let me know and I will send you a copy. God really did answer your prayers.
