The Search for Contentment Print E-mail
Written by Bryce Gilmor

People are on a life long search for peace, for contentment.  Some people do some pretty crazy things trying to find “it”.  Some try drugs, some try alcohol, some try sex to drown out the pain and noise in their souls. Some even try being part of a church and doing all the religious things – keeping some kind of internal score card to give themselves more value.

In Philippians 4:12 Paul says “I have found the secret of being content in any and every situation..”.  So what’s the secret?  Did Paul hide away from the world in some cave to find this contentment?  Was he just lucky and life was pretty easy for him?

Steiger International is passionate about reaching the global secular youth culture for Christ.

Many of our ministries use art, music and various forms of media to bring the Gospel outside of the Church, and into difficult to reach places: Islamic countries, terrorist clubs, squatter villages, anarchy festivals, brothels, junkie joints, punk & goth music festivals, Satanist clubs and New Age gatherings.
