It was past midnight when I parked my car across the street from Hell, a nightclub downtown. As I crossed the street to enter it, two prostitutes standing near by started to tease me. A guy from our church lined up the concert for No Longer Music in that club and I had never been there before. About 200 middle to upper class young people filled the place. Looking at them I thought some were way too young to be out partying, smoking, drinking heavily, using drugs and disappearing in pairs into one of the dark slots in the upper room to do who knows what. When the opening act started playing their first song most of the crowd pressed to the front of the stage to see their concert.

In 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 Paul says "When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power".
